I was a city girl most of my life and find myself struggling to be content sometimes in smaller home with 4 kiddos. Have you ever used The Good and The Beautiful to teach a child to read? I am a busy homeschooling mom of five soon six kids and about to have a C-section. Need something fun and simple for my six year old to learn to read but very easy for me. Was considering trying The Good and The Beautiful. What do you recommend for math for first grade? Love to hear any thoughts you have!

I wish this had been available when my kids went to university as they pretty much left off practising their faith and became more secularized at university. 🇨🇦

How is teaching textbooks working for you in highschool? I’m trying to decide if we should switch or keep using it. My boys have not had a problem with it so far. (Pre-algebra)

Prize suggestion: cool pens. My teens like cool pens/gel pens, pencils things like that!

Everett is growing so much as are all the kids. Elsie is looking like a real teenager now. Always helpful in the kitchen. Good achievement with today’s lesson, Jeremiah. When our youngest daughter was 4 my mom gave her an entire bag of skittles. It took two days and the grace of God that we all survived that wall climbing event. lol

I was glad to see that you and baby Lewis are doing so well. Your family brings back fond memories of when my family was young on the homestead. We never had a dairy cow, but we did have dairy goats, chickens, a big garden and fruit trees. We later added berries of all sorts. The many subjects that can be practically taught to our children on a homestead is a great blessing. The light of nature makes us appreciate that which is revealed (written) even more. That is because daily we are observing it's veracity.

Your handsome, beautiful children’s eyes and smiles are the best. The examples you two have shown these children shines thru their faces. Bet they can be some zoomies at times😅. The dairy cows are needed in your house for milk, cheese, butter etc.
